Firstly, tank size is crucial. Leopard Plecos grow quite large, often reaching up to 18 inches, so a minimum tank size of 100 gallons is recommended. This provides ample space for the fish to move around comfortably and reduces stress. Additionally, ensure that the tank is well-filtered and oxygenated, as these fish produce a significant amount of waste. A robust filtration system is necessary to maintain water quality and keep the environment clean.

Diet is another key aspect of Leopard Pleco care.
